Probably the most talked about issue on the charter amendments coming before Bryan voters is Proposition 4.
City Secretary Mary Lynn Stratta says a citizen petition was filed to put the issue before voters.
In August of 2008 the Bryan City Council voted to change the number of members required to put something on a meeting agenda from two to three.
The petition driven Prop 4 would lower that number back down to two.
If the issue is approved the Bryan Council will lose the authority to change the number, any future changes would have to be approved by voters via another charter election.
