The Bryan City Council received no comments Tuesday night on two well-publicized items. The city’s new ban on the synthetic drug K-2 received final passage as part of the council’s consent agenda. The ban starts this coming Saturday. College Station’s K-2 ban started this past Sunday. And no one appeared for the public hearing on the city budget that starts October first.
Council members had some discussion about the approaching marriage of the BVSWMA landfill operation. Acting City Manager Hugh Walker confirmed the annual budget gives the Bryan and College Station City Councils 30 days to decide if they agree with future spending plans. Click below for more:
