A Bryan teen is behind bars following an arrest at the Bryan High football game Friday night. Authorities say Peter Russel Olsen, 18, was wanted on multiple warrants including assault, home burglary with intent to commit another felony, and two counts of violating a protective order.
Olsen was apprehended after a citizen’s tip help lead police to him. As officers approached, Olsen fled the scene, according to reports.
The K-9 unit was called to assist police in locating a gun after officers found bullets on Olsen. Police say an empty firearm was later found near the Bryan High campus.
Olsen is charged with evading arrest, unlawful possession of a firearm, tampering with identification numbers, and failure to identify.
He is being held in the Brazos County Jail on $145,650 bond.
