A Bryan man is accused of walking into a local business June 10 with a shotgun then turned around and leave the store.

30 year old Eduardo Vidot-Colon was arrested Friday for the aggravated robbery of Woody’s Smoke Shop on South College and also for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

Nothing was taken and no one was injured.

According to the arrest report, the store clerk said Colon, who was a frequent customer she knew as “Puerto Rico”, did not point the gun at her.

The arrest report also states Colon confessed to the robbery while high on drugs and decided to leave before taking anything because of his conscience and his baby son.

Colon has been held in the Brazos County Jail since June 16 on warrants from prior cases. It’s the eighth time Colon has been there since September 2012.
