CS Council Advances Library Project

Six years after being approved by voters, the College Station city council has approved staff recommendations to proceed with designing renovations and an expansion of the Ringer library.

Library space will grow by 16,000 square feet and there will be additional parking. Public Works Director Don Harmon says specifics have not been determined.

The timeline calls for the design to be finalized in October of next year, and construction to be finished by October 2016.
