Two Homes Searched by Police Result in Four Arrests on Drug Charges

Bryan Police made four arrests on drug charges following a search of two neighboring homes early Tuesday morning.

43 year old James Frederick Hall and 66 year old Curtis James Hall were arrested for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. That’s after officers seized, according to the arrest report, nearly one pound of the synthetic marijuana K2 with a street value of $4,000 and almost one quart of suspected codeine/promethazine syrup with a value of $1,600 dollars. Officers also collected what the arrest report calls a “plethora” of bottles of other prescription medications, nearly $1,100 dollars in cash, and a suspected stolen Sam Houston State ring.

The search of the second home turned up a personal use quantity of K2. Arrested on possession charges were 20 year old Arturo Pina and 19 year old Ezequiel Olaguez.

Six officers from Bryan and one from College Station participated in the searches on Virginia Street, located near the intersection of Palasota and West 28th.
