COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M and Arizona State will square off on the hardwood each of the next two seasons as a two-year men’s basketball series between the schools was announced Tuesday.
The first meeting will take place in College Station at Reed Arena on Dec. 6, 2014, with a return trip to Tempe’s Wells Fargo Arena planned for Dec. 5, 2015.
Texas A&M’s 2014-15 non-conference schedule is shaping up to be one of the most formidable slates in recent memory as in addition to Arizona State, the Aggies will face Kansas State at Kansas City’s Sprint Center on Dec. 20. Both ASU and KSU were NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago.
The Aggies are also participating in the 2014 Puerto Rico Tip-Off which will take place in San Juan Nov. 20-23, 2014, and features defending national champion Connecticut along with Boston College, College of Charleston, Dayton, George Mason, New Mexico and West Virginia.
