College Staton Police Arrests Includes the 13th for a Bryan Man

A Bryan man has been arrested for the second time in four months on charges of possesing a large quantity of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

College Station Police Lt. Chuck Fleeger says 26 year old Zachary White was initially arrested Thursday morning for assaulting his girlfriend.

While searching White’s vehicle, a backpack was found containing what Fleeger says was 61 grams or two ounces of crystal meth with a street value of several thousand dollars.

The assault victim was not seriously injured, according to Fleeger.

Last August, a deputy constable arrested White following a chase at speeds as high as 114 mies per hour. At that time, the deputy said White had a backpack with meth and $3,490 in cash.

According to jail records, White has been arrested 13 times in the last seven years and six times since August.
