A Bryan woman arrested for the 48th time of driving with a suspended license is back on the streets.

A Bryan policeman on routine patrol stopped a white minivan driving at a high rate of speed.

The officer then noticed the temporary tag had expired two days before.

The driver, 47 year old Nancy Arenas, said she was taking her daughter home.

Her driving record, which was included in her arrest report, shows 47 suspensions dating back eight years.

She has 24 current suspensions, caught with having no drivers license and/or no insurance.

Arenas record also includes 15 prior convictions, again for not having insurance or a valid license.

She spent one hour in jail, then was released after posting a $2,000 dollar bond.
