An aggravated robbery Thursday morning left a convenience store clerk unconscious when he was struck on the head while taking out the garbage.
College Station Police Chief Jeff Capps says a garbage truck driver found the clerk, still unconscious, outside the Gateway Exxon at University and the freeway.
The clerk was checked out at the scene by firefighter EMT’s.
Two suspects took an disclosed amount of money.
Police and fire units were called out Thursday at 4:15 a.m.
