Another Natural Gas Line Hit in College Station

Atmos Energy reports repairs have been completed and the affected businesses and Nimitz Street have reopened.

A natural gas line was hit Tuesday morning shortly before 11 on Nimitz near University.

The College Station Fire Department (CSFD) advised motorists of delays on University between Texas and Tarrow.

CSFD says Nimitz was closed north of University and two businesses were evacuated as a precaution…Aggieland Outfitters and Montolongo’s Jewelry.

Atmos Energy was notified of the cut to the two inch line, which was done by a construction crew.
