The Junior League of Bryan/College Station is hosting its annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive Thursday, August 8.

Donations will be accepted at the Brazos Center from 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Local HEB stores are serving as satellite locations from 9:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Here’s the list of items to donate to assist 16,000 students in the twin cities:

•#2 pencils
•crayons
•colored pencils
•washable markers
•12” X 18” manila paper
•12” X 18” construction paper
•dry erase markers
•notebook paper
•solid-colored pocket folders
•pink pearl erasers
•and spiral notebooks

From the Junior League website, last year there were more than 300,000 school supplies purchased. That equates to 35 pallets, or more than a semi-trailer full, that were distributed to 32 different local schools.
