For the 12th time in two months there has been an armed robbery in the twin cities.
The latest was in College Station Thursday night at 11:45 outside the Doux Chene apartments on Harvey Mitchell Parkway. A female victim told police she was approached by two men, one who pointed a gun at her and took her cell phone. The men left with a third person in a faded blue four-door passenger car. The victim was not hurt.
The first suspect is described as an Hispanic male, medium height and build, wearing a white shirt and red shorts. The second suspect is described as a black male, medium height and build, wearing black shorts and no shirt. The victim did not have a description of third suspect, who stayed in the car.
This holdup follows armed robberies at five different convenience stores on June 22 and July 8, 10, 12, and 31, the Reveille Ranch apartments on June 30, a donut shop on July 3, and a carjacking followed by a bank robbery on July 30, and two other bank holdups on May 31 and June 19. Arrests have been made in 7 of the 12 incidents.
