For the third straight week, Brazos County Commissioners will be considering a burn ban.
County Judge Duane Peters says factors they take into consideration is the added load for volunteer fire departments and the sheriff’s office.
Peters says there’s been very few problems from landowners who live outside city limits, who are affected by a county ban.
He also reminds rural property owners they still face civil liability if fires they set spread to neighboring land.
Duane Peters visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
