DALLAS (AP) _ Some superintendents in Texas are calling for an overhaul of public schools to better prepare students — in ways that aren’t boring.
Details are in a 48-page report called “Creating a New Vision for Public Education in Texas.”
Some 3,500 administrators are expected to weigh in on the report this week during a Texas Association of School Administrators conference in Austin.
The document, nearly two years in the making, spells out the thoughts of superintendents on several key issues, such as:
