Mischief was afoot Thursday in the northern part of Bryan, as several residents found that their car windows had been smashed.
Officer Kelley McKethan says nothing was stolen, but paint was poured on two of the vehicles, as well as on a house.
McKethan says the crimes took place north of Highway 21 in the Woodville area, mostly on different streets, and it’s difficult to tell when the crimes actually occurred.
She says police began getting calls around one in the morning, after which time, officers began patrolling the area to find other damaged vehicles and contact the owners.
She says because the crimes took place so close to each other and in such a short time frame, police are considering the crimes as possibly related.
As the investigation continues, McKethan encourages anyone who might have seen or heard something suspicious to contact Bryan’s Police Department by calling 979-209-5300, or call Crimestoppers at 979-776-TIPS.
