The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents will continue to have an active role in the future of Kyle Field.
At this week’s meeting the Regents didn’t bring up and A&M President Bowen Loftin didn’t say what becomes of home football games once construction starts.
But Loftin says a committee that includes Regent Jim Wilson of Sugar Land still has work to do, as does other stakeholders.
$5 million dollars of architectural and engineering work was authorized by the Regents, who aren’t scheduled to meet again until January 31st.
A&M Athletics Director Eric Hyman says Kyle Field “has the potential to be the largest and most significant construction project in the history of college football”.
Comments from Bowen Loftin and Jim Wilson.
