Lot’s to do in Woman’s Sports.

 Brittney Griner is the third player to be a two-time unanimous choice on The Associated Press’ women’s basketball preseason All-America team. Griner received all 40 votes from a national media panel yesterday. The Baylor star joined former UConn star Maya Moore and Duke great Alana Beard in that select club.

 The Texas A&M women’s golf team concluded its fall season Tuesday by finishing in second place at the Alamo Invitational.  The Aggies ended the tournament with a final core of 856, eight under par. The men’s golf team concluded its fall schedule Tuesday at Royal Oaks Country Club, finishing in sixth place at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate hosted by Baylor and SMU.

The No. 13 Aggies are looking to carry their conference tournament success over to the Southeastern Conference. Texas A&M won five titles in its 16 years of competing at the Big 12 Championship. They Kick off against South Carolina at noon in Alabama.
