A supervisor for the security company hired by College Station Medical Center conducting an evaluation received multiple facial injuries after being kicked and struck multiple times.
The victim told police he advised the employee to go cool off after being agitated by a negative evaluation.
The supervisor said the next thing he knew, he was on the ground regaining consciousness and was bleeding from his mouth and nose.
Investigators say 49 year old Jerry Kennedy of College Station turned himself in and told officers he “just snapped”.
According to the hospital’s video recording system, Kennedy delivered repeated straight left punches with a clenched fist and kicked the supervisor at least six times with his combat style duty boots.
Kennedy, who was arrested for aggravated assault of a security officer, is out of jail after posting bond.
