28 members of the B/CS Chamber of Commerce are in Washington D.C. this week for an annual visit with federal lawmakers.
Chamber President Royce Hickman says this week’s goal is to communicate three main points, (1) reducing debt and balancing the budget, (2) reducing regulations and tax burdens, and (3) encouraging economic development.
Hickman says on Tuesday between 9 and 5, the delegation for the first time will be in a room at the Capitol holding 30 minute sessions with members of the House and Senate.
WTAW’s Bill Oliver visits with Royce Hickman.
