The first annual Money Week Brazos Valley, a free financial education program, will be held from April 14 – 20. During the week, financial education workshops will be offered throughout the community to guide Brazos Valley residents on the path to economic independence.
Course topics include basic budgeting and financial management, savings and investing, home buyer education and retirement planning.
The week will kick-off with a Financial Freedom Fair hosted by Bank on Brazos Valley at the Center for Regional Services on Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will feature keynote Speaker, Kevin F. Roach, Executive Professor for Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. Bank on Brazos Valley partners will also offer brief seminars.
Money Week Brazos Valley is sponsored by the United Way of the Brazos Valley, Bank on Brazos Valley, the City of Bryan, and the City of College Station.
