The Bryan Police Department recognized some of their finest Thursday night at their annual awards banquet.
The officers and employees nominated their peers for six main awards:
Civilian of the Year: Krissa Supak
Reserve of the Year: Will Hooge
FTO of the Year: Bryan Ruebush
Detective of the Year: Matt Miller
Supervisor of the Year: Dean Swartzlander
Officer of the Year: Mike Kneese
Officers who received a community service ribbon, a life saving award, or a citation for doing a great job in a specific area in the past year were also recognized.
Officer Jon Agnew said with nearly 200 employees working on different shifts, the banquet is a great chance for the entire department to spend an evening together.
