City of Bryan Announces New Parks & Recreation App
Exploring all that the City of Bryan Parks, Recreation & Facility Services Department has to offer is easier than ever, thanks to the recent launch of a new mobile app. The free Bryan Parks & Recreation app is now available for iPhone and Android, and features simple ways to register for programs, rent facilities, find facility passes, and receive up-to-the minute program notifications at your fingertips. An account is required, however, the app utilizes the same user account information as the city’s parks registration website, allowing for a seamless transition between the website and the mobile app. Residents who are new to parks registration should create their account on the registration website before downloading the app. While the new app offers streamlined registration, options to make reservations by phone or in person remain. Here’s what you can expect from the new app: Activities & Programs Find programs for all ages! Browse programs for youth, adults and seniors, including sports, camps, swim lessons, fitness classes and more. The entire registration and payment process can be completed in the app. Court & Pavilion Rentals Want to reserve an outdoor pavilion, tennis court or pickleball court? See what’s available and make reservations directly from the app. Facility Passes & Memberships View and manage purchased pool passes and tennis center memberships in the app. Barcodes can be scanned directly from the app, allowing quick and convenient access to facilities. Mobile-Exclusive Notifications Through the new app, parks staff can send urgent notifications about program updates, including weather notices, registration deadlines and other announcements. Make sure to turn on notifications to receive these timely alerts! Stay in Touch With the City Access phone numbers, email addresses and facility information, plus find links to the city’s social media platforms and website.
