12th Man Foundation Sued Over Football Parking

The 12th Man Foundation at A&M is accused of “not being a good Aggie” in a lawsuit filed by football fans over parking.

Quoting an e-mail sent to WTAW by Foundation President/CEO Miles Marks: “The 12th Man Foundation believes the lawsuit to be totally without merit and falsely representing the facts.   It is not the policy of the Foundation to discuss pending litigation.”

Tom and Delma Tullos of Porter, according to the Houston Chronicle, have had their football parking moved from south of Kyle Field to west of Wellborn Road because they have not donated money to the Foundation’s “Aggie Access Point Program”.

The couple claims they were promised their original parking for 30 years as part of a $20,000 dollar contribution they made in 1994.

The lawsuit, filed in Houston, seeks unspecified damages and attorney’s fees.
