This week our visit with the Bryan PD involved an update on a pair of murder investigations.

Click to hear WTAW’s Chris Clift talk with Officer Jason James:

Bryan investigators teamed with Robertson County authorities to arrest Michael Allen Peck in the early morning hours Tuesday.

Peck, 44, is being held in the Brazos County Jail with a bond amount of $500,000.

He faces up to life in prison if convicted in the strangling death of Julia Melissa Perez of Bryan.

BPD continues to investigate the murder of a man who was found dead in a trailer on north Texas Avenue earlier this month.

James says they continue to follow leads in the shooting, but new tips are always valuable.

You can reach BPD investigators by calling 209-5316 or give anonymous tips by calling Crime Stoppers at 775-TIPS.
