Bank Robbery in Snook

Burleson County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a pair of robbery suspects after an armed attack Friday morning in Snook.

Authorities say two black men robbed Citizen’s State Bank at gunpoint and fled the scene.

One suspect is described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and the other is approximately 6 feet one inch.

Both were dressed in all black clothing. No injuries were reported.

The day was spent with tracking dogs from the state prison system on the ground and a DPS helicopter overhead.

The search was focused along FM 2039 near Snook because that’s where authorities found a black pickup matching the suspects. It’s now believed the robbers are in an unknown vehicle.
