Cargill has served as the superintendent at Bryan ISD since 2004.
Prior to that he was a high school principal in the district for two years.
Cargill says one of his biggest goals is to see more students move on to pursue some type of post secondary education.
School funding and budget issues are cited as the biggest challenge facing Bryan ISD.
