Bryan City Councilmembers at this week’s meeting received a review of last year’s activity at the electric department.
During that presentation, BTU General Manager Dan Wilkerson was asked about the progress of changing state legislation opening more records of municipal power companies.
Wilkerson says there is no opposition to the proposed changes, which will open more information to the public while leaving private “the things we really need to have competitive.”
