Two more people are interested in joining the College Station City Council.
Blinn College professor Blanche Brick has filed for the place one opening created because John Crompton has served the maximum two terms.
And Sherry Ellison has filed for the place five position now held by Jana McMillan. Ellison is a retiree who currently serves as vice-chair of the city’s bicycle, pedestrian, and greenways advisory committee. McMillan has not announced if she will seek a full term after joining the council last November for the late Larry Stewart.
Ellison and Brick join Karl Mooney, who filed last month for the place three position being vacated by Dennis Maloney.
The filing deadline for city and school positions is the 14th. Voter registration ends April 14th. Early voting starts May 2nd.
