Bryan police report two juveniles were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries after they were run over by a car Tuesday morning (October 28). A third juvenile was arrested on a charge of intoxication assault resulting in serious bodily injury. This happened on Leonard Road near Jordan Loop. A BPD spokesman says the preliminary investigation shows the injured were possibly “hood surfing” and were run over after the car crashed into a culvert. BPD did not disclose the ages of the driver and the injured and whether the driver had a license.

Then the officer learns the driver of the pickup was kicked out of the restaurant and drove away doing burnouts. Seven minutes after being almost rear-ended, the officer responds to a motorcyclist being struck by the same pickup. Then the pickup left the scene and rear-ended another vehicle. WTAW News has asked CSPD for the extent of injuries to the motorcyclist and the driver of the other vehicle. The driver of the pickup, 40 year old Zachary Colbough of Dublin Texas, was arrested for DWI with two prior convictions. Colbough is out of jail after posting a $25,000 dollar bond.
