Texas A&M Baseball will be without third baseman Gavin Grahovac for the remainder of the season.
TexAgs’ Ryan Brauninger reported that Grahovac will have surgery on his left shoulder. Grahovac landed hard on his shoulder in the season opener against Elon and has been dealing with shoulder tightness. Recovery is expected to take at least six months.
Grahovac was the SEC Freshman of the year last season. He hit a Texas A&M freshman record 23 home runs in his first year. He earned Freshman All-SEC honors.
The number one ranked Aggie baseball team is currently 5-1 and coming off a series win over Cal Poly. They will take on Texas State tomorrow night at 6 o’clock.
