BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women’s tennis team signed Jennifer Jackson, the No. 15 recruit in the nation, head coach Mark Weaver announced Wednesday.
“We are delighted to have Jennifer join our program and she will be a great addition to our tennis team,” Weaver said. “She comes in as one of the top junior players in the United States. She has a very powerful game that will continue to get better and better during her time here in Aggieland.”
Jackson, a Spicewood native, is one of the top juniors in the country. She ranks as the No. 1 player in Texas, No. 15 player in the nation and earned a five-star blue chip rating, according to TennisRecruiting.Net. Among prestigious events won by Jackson is the 2022 USTA Texas Slam U16 Doubles title.
In doubles action, Jackson has seen main draw action in several ITF events, including a W80 event in Tyler, Texas, in 2022. She owns a 6-2 mark in UTR Pro Match Series singles play in 2024.
Her brother, Luke Jackson, is a sophomore pitcher on the Texas A&M baseball team.
Jackson is expected to join the team in the fall of 2025.
