Highway 30 Near Bird Pond Road Closed Tuesday Morning Following A Three Vehicle Crash

Thanks to WTAW listeners for letting us know about a crash Tuesday morning (October 29) that closed Highway 30 near Bird Pond Road for almost two hours.

DPS reports an eastbound Camaro preparing to make a left turn was rear-ended by a Beetle whose driver failed to control their speed.

The Camaro was pushed across the center line and was struck by an oncoming Jeep, causing the Jeep to roll onto its side.

The drivers of the Camaro and the Beetle were taken to a Bryan hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

There were no passengers in any of the vehicles.

The highway was shut down at 6:56 a.m. and the scene was cleared at 8:50 a.m.
