A College Station man’s sixth trip to jail in the last 16 months following his arrest on five charges related to family violence.

Online jail records shows 35 year old Kenton Lister is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, continuous family violence, violating two protection orders, and evidence tampering.

The College Station police arrest report says on the night of October 9th, Lister forced his way into the victim’s home, causing damage to the door frame of the front door.

Then the victim was continuously assaulted over a 13 hour period.

The arrest report says the victim was able “to use a ruse to separate herself and her infant” from Lister. That allowed her to contact law enforcement.

The arrest report says the victim reported Lister assaulted her on June 17th, and on February 26th Lister was arrested by Bryan police for family violence strangulation and continuous family violence involving another victim.

Online jail records show Lister was arrested July 13th for burglary of a habitation, on June 8th for not having a driver’s license, in October 2023 for evading arrest with a vehicle, and in June 2023 for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Lister remains in jail as of October 17th, held in lieu of bonds on the new charges totaling $390,000 dollars.
