Arrests After A Stabbing, After Assaulting Two Brazos County Detention Officers, And After Violating Bond Twice

College Station police posts on its Facebook page, a stabbing that took place on Longmire Drive Thursday (September 12). The CSPD arrest report says in an apartment, the occupant received a small puncture on his neck from a guest that apartment management said was not supposed to be there. The guest told officers that the stabbing was in self defense. Arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was 51 year old Adrian Verrette of College Station. He remains in jail as of September 13th. No bond has been set according to online jail records.

A Houston man held in the Brazos County jail since his 31st birthday on August 9th is now charged with assaulting two detention officers and trying to take a taser away from one of the officers. The sheriff’s office arrest report says another detention officer fired his taser. The jail’s medical staff provided basic first aid to the officers. The original charges against Nicholas Petty include a robbery and the third consecutive day that he was accused of disorderly conduct-language. Petty remains jailed as of September 13th in lieu of bonds totaling $41,000 dollars.

Officers with the Bryan police department’s directed deployment team find a man who was arrested for violating bond for the second time in three months by being with the victim of two domestic violence crimes. 20 year old Braelyn Jones of College Station is awaiting trials on misdemeanor charges of family violence assault causing bodily injury in May and unlawful restraint in July. Jones, who is in jail for the fifth time since February 19th, remains jailed as of September 12th in lieu of a $25,000 dollar bond.
