PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – The Texas A&M women’s basketball team opens the Battle 4 Atlantis against Villanova Saturday, Nov. 23, the tournament organizers announced Thursday.
The eight-team tournament takes place on Paradise Island in the Bahamas at the Imperial Arena. The Maroon & White is guaranteed three games and will venture into the winner’s or loser’s bracket depending on the result of the Villanova game.
The Aggies will take on either North Carolina or Ball State in the second game and play one of the four remaining teams (Baylor, Columbia, Indiana, Southern Miss) on the final day of the tournament. For the full bracket and tournament info, click here.
Head coach Joni Taylor is entering her third year at the helm of the program. She is fresh off a gold medal as an assistant coach of the United States Women’s National Team at the 2024 Paris Olympics and helped guide the Maroon & White to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2020-21 campaign last year.
