Texas A&M Baseball’s Grahovac Unanimous Freshman All-American

News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M third baseman Gavin Grahovac has been named a First Team Freshman All-American by Baseball America.

The selection marks the fourth for Grahovac, making the Orange, California, native a unanimous Freshman All-American. This is the second straight year the Aggies have had a unanimous Freshman All-American with fellow teammate Jace LaViolette earning the distinction in 2023.

The SEC Freshman of the Year slashed .298/.390/.596 in his first season in Aggieland to go along with a freshman program record 23 home runs. The Maroon & White third baseman also registered 85 hits, scored 83 times, drove in 66 runs and doubled 16 times. The rookie also recorded 23 multi-hit games, 17 multi-RBI performance and two multi-homer games.

At the College World Series, Grahovac became the first player in NCAA history to leadoff the opening game of the finals with a homer.
