A College Station man who admits to drunk driving with three prior convictions is sentenced to three years in prison.

37 year old Roland Riojas was sentenced last Wednesday (June 29) for a DWI where his blood alcohol level measured more than one and a half times the legal limit at .126.

A College Station police arrest report says in February 2023, Riojas was found asleep in the drive thru of a fast food restaurant.

Riojas also pleaded guilty to the third time for driving with an invalid license.

A plea agreement with the district attorney’s office means Riojas waived his right to appeal the conviction and punishment.

Online court records shows prior DWI convictions in May 2012, May 2015, and November 2017.
