A former Texas A&M transportation services employee who admitted two months ago to video recording over 100 people using the restroom receives his punishment.
Online records shows 59 year old Peter Baty of College Station entered guilty pleas on April 18th to five counts of invasive video recording.
On June 21st, Baty was sentenced to one year in a state jail to each of the five counts. A news release from the Brazos County district attorney’s office says each sentence will be served one after the other, for a total of five years.
Baty was arrested in May 2019. According to a news release from Texas A&M police, Baty was identified as the person who placed a video camera under a sink in what appeared to be a phone charger device.
