The 28th time that a 29 year old Bryan man is booked into the Brazos County jail, it is on district court warrants charging him with two vehicle burglaries that took place on April 5th and April 24th. In one of the cases, the Bryan police arrest report says one of the victims and a friend tried to run down Ronzani Taylor Jr. after they saw him in the victim’s pickup truck that was parked near the courthouse. Officers identified Taylor as the suspect after finding his cell phone, which he left behind inside the victim’s truck, and video from traffic cameras in downtown Bryan. In addition to formal charges being filed in the misdemeanor burglary cases, Taylor is also awaiting trial on a felony charge of evading arrest in July of 2023. Taylor remained in jail as of May 6th in lieu of bonds totaling $8,000 dollars.

College Station police arrest a man and a woman twice during April on charges of breaking into three vehicles and attempted theft. CSPD arrest reports say a doorbell camera caught 19 year old Emily Velazquez-Martinez and 24 year old Alec Hunsinger pulling on the door handles of two locked vehicles parked in the same driveway. The arrest reports also say the couple confessed to burglarizing and attempting to break into numerous vehicles on the same street during daytime hours on April 17th. Martinez and Hunsinger are out of jail after posting bonds totaling $12,000 dollars apiece.
