Buffalo’s Police Chief Credits A Local Response To An Amber Alert For Finding An Abducted Child

A two year old child abducted southeast of Dallas is found safe in the Brazos Valley.

Buffalo’s police chief on Monday thanked local residents who paid attention to an amber alert that was received on their cell phones.

On the Buffalo PD’s Facebook page, Jason Sullivan said within minutes of last Friday’s alert, they received information that the child was in the Buffalo area.

That led to finding the child, who was placed in the custody of child and protective services.

Sullivan thanked a concerned community for providing information instead of silencing that extremely loud alert on their cell phone and went on with their day.
