Bryan Broadcasting Debuts Magic 97.3 FM, Aggieland’s R&B And Throwbacks

Bryan Broadcasting has a new radio station. Magic 97.3 features Aggieland’s R&B and throwbacks, along with the Steve Harvey Morning Show starting January 13th. News release from Bryan Broadcasting: Bryan Broadcasting is proud to announce the debut of the newest local radio station serving our community, “Magic 97.3”, becoming the only R&B station in the Brazos Valley. Magic 97.3 launched at 12 Noon on Thursday, January 2 with Tevin Campbell’s “Can We Talk” and Ginuwine’s “Differences”. Core artists for Magic 97.3 will include Mary J. Blige, Usher, Luther Vandross, Aaliyah, October London, Tony! Toni! Tone!, and many more. Bryan Broadcasting Programming Operations Manager Rob Mack says, “We are thrilled to bring Magic 97.3 to the Bryan-College Station area! This will be a fantastic new radio choice for listeners, featuring several decades of timeless songs and the best of today’s R&B. 20 Year Old Bryan Man’s 15th Trip To Jail In 18 Months

A 20 year old Bryan man is booked in the Brazos County jail for the 15th time since April of 2023. Two hours into the new year, a College Station police officer in the Northgate district served a Bryan police arrest warrant on Frederick Hall III for failing to pay a fine for parking in a handicapped area. Hall was also charged with underage possession of a nicotine vaping device with a prior conviction. Online records shows Hall was released from jail later on New Year’s Day after paying fines totaling $1,097.20. He was also released on his promise to appear in College Station municipal court on the charge of underage possession charge. According to online Brazos County district court records, Hall is awaiting four trials on misdemeanor charges of driving with an invalid license, two trials on misdemeanor charges of failing to identify himself, and one trial on a misdemeanor charge of not having vehicle insurance. All seven cases stem from arrests made between April and November of 2024.
