The Houston Texans were unable to contain Trey Lance and the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, 23-7.
Lance, a first-round pick from North Dakota State, combined for 280 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
He out-dueled fellow rookie quarterback Davis Mills, who threw for 163 yards and one touchdown to go along with one interception.
With the loss, Houston falls to 4-12 ahead of January 9th’s season finale against Tennessee.
