Teenager Arrested After Firearm Discharge Inside Northgate Bar

A teenager is behind bars after accidental discharge of a firearm Saturday night at a Northgate bar.

College Station Police on patrol in Northgate heard a shot come from the One15 club in the 100 block of College Main.

19-year-old Trey Lamar Wheeler, of Tyler, was located inside the club with a gun in his waistband.

Reports say he had a second firearm that was misplaced inside the club prior to the shot being fired. The second firearm was eventually located and seized.

Wheeler was charged with Public Intoxication, 2 counts of Unlawful Carry of a Weapon, 2 Counts of Unlawful Carry of a Weapon in a Prohibited Place, Deadly Conduct Discharge of a Firearm, Disorderly Conduct Discharge of a Firearm, and Failure to Identify Giving False/Fictitious Information.

He is currently jailed on $20,000 bond. Bond has not yet been set on three of the eight charges.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
