Jorge Soler and Adam Duvall both went deep and the Atlanta Braves bowled over the Houston Astros Tuesday night, 6-2 in Game 1 of the World Series.
Former Texas A&M standout AJ Minter picked up the win in relief, coming on in the third inning after Atlanta starter Charlie Morton left with a fractured fibula.
Minter, who pitched for the Aggies from 2013-2015, allowed one earned run on three hits in 2.2 innings pitched.
Fellow Aggie Brooks Raley tossed 1.2 perfect innings of relief for Houston.
The Astros will look to tie things up with the Braves Wednesday night when they host Atlanta for Game 2.
