Jake Meyers and Marwin Gonzales smacked back-to-back home runs in the third inning and the Houston Astros rolled to a 7-2 win over the Texas Rangers Wednesday night.
Justin Tucker also went deep for Houston, while Jose Urquidy twirled six stellar innings.
With the win, the ‘Stros improve to 85-60 on the year and increase their lead in the American League West to seven games.
Meanwhile, the last-place Rangers fall to 54-91.
The fourth and final game of the Lone Star Series wraps up Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
