To say it has been a “bumpy” off-season for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson would be an understatement.
The NFL’s reigning passing king requested a trade back in January, before being hit with 22 lawsuits in March alleging sexual assault and harassment.
Watson returned to practice this week after missing some time with ankle and calf issues.
However, head coach David Culley says he will likely not suit up for the Texans’ exhibition at Green Bay this Saturday.
When asked if Watson will see the field at all this preseason, Culley replied with, “No comment.”
Off-season acquisition Tyrod Taylor is expected to make the start Saturday against the Packers.
