The night before College Station and Bryan police start a holiday promotional campaign about the dangers of drunk driving, a Bryan woman is arrested for DWI with three prior convictions and with a three year old in her SUV.

Instead of going to jail, 46 year old Charlotte Myles was admitted to a local hospital for observation of multiple health issues.

She was also allowed to post a bond that keeps her out of jail as long as she meets undefined conditions.

According to the BPD arrest report, Myles was found in downtown Bryan last Thursday night outside her parked vehicle lying on the ground while the toddler was walking around in only a diaper.

The child was given to his father.

There was no jail booking photo.
