A Bryan man was still in jail Monday Following a disturbance at a west Bryan hotel early Friday morning that resulted in an estimated $20,000 dollars damage.

23 year old Simon Rader was not a registered guest at The Stella Hotel when according to the Bryan police arrest report he destroyed every item in an unoccupied room.

Rader is accused of throwing an end table with enough force that it went through the glass window out of a room on the sixth floor.

Shattered glass covered the ground and a BPD patrol vehicle.

Before the property damage, Rader is accused of threatening to kill everyone in the hotel with a knife. Officers had to force their way into the room to take Rader into custody.

According to the arrest report, officers were told that Rader entered the unoccupied room because employees possibly left the door open.

Rader was taken to jail after being evaluated at the hospital. He is held on bonds totaling $26,000 dollars on charges of criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, and making a terroristic threat.
