Navasota Police Officer Dies While Vacationing In South Dakota

The city of Navasota has announced funeral arrangements for a police officer who died Monday while vacationing in South Dakota at the Sturgis motorcycle rally.

The body of 22 year old William Cooper of Anderson will lie in state in Navasota’s city council chambers Monday from four until seven for a come and go visitation.

Cooper’s funeral service is Tuesday morning at ten at Rattler Stadium.

Cooper’s family is requesting donations in lieu of flowers should be made to the Thin Blue Line Hero Fund.
